How we get paid

Most programs pay us once when you sign up for a paid plan or a free trial. Some pay a share of what you pay each month. Insurance and benefits programs pay us per quote request or lead, never per policy you buy.

How to spot an affiliate link

A page with affiliate links says so above the first one. We mark these links as sponsored for search engines.

What a commission does not change

It does not change the price you pay. It does not change what a page says about a product. When a free option does the job, the page says so first.
